Cancellation and Refund Policy

At 1300 Cabs Melbourne, we value your time and strive to provide a reliable and professional taxi service. We understand that plans can change, and this policy outlines our approach to cancellations and refunds.

Cancellations by Customers

  • If you need to cancel your booking, we kindly request that you notify us as early as possible.
  • Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time will not attract any cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled pick-up time, a minimum cancellation fee may apply.

No-Show Policy

  • If the driver arrives at the pick-up location and the passenger does not show up, it will be treated as a “No-Show.”
  • In such cases, the full fare or a minimum fee may be charged to cover the driver’s time and travel.

Refunds

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed in cases where advance payment has been made and the booking is cancelled in line with the above conditions.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • No refunds will be issued in cases of passenger “No-Show” or last-minute cancellations falling outside our cancellation window.

In rare circumstances, if we are unable to provide the service due to unforeseen reasons (such as vehicle breakdowns, driver unavailability, or safety concerns), customers will be notified immediately. Any advance payment made will be refunded in full, or an alternative arrangement will be offered.
